Virgin Army

During the winter wars in the mountainous north, young, conscripted Cimmerian girls were generously spent on full frontal mass attacks against heavily armored enemy strongholds.

The tender soldier girls were always sent into the freezing battles completely naked, regardless of the weather conditions. In an effort to surprise and confuse the enemy, the commanders preferably ordered the girls to attack in vast numbers in the midst of severe mid-winter blizzards, having zero concern about the suffering inflicted on the girl's exceptionally sensitive bodies.

Young girls were especially efficient as decoys when charging fully nude. This diverted the enemy away from other operations and triggered release of massive volleys of their infamous, yellow glowing burning arrows, intended to melt through heavy armor at impact. A somewhat wasted ability when applied against naked girls, with the youngest, most vulnerable deployed unarmed in the front lines with the purpose to let their unprotected bodies absorb maximum amounts of the dreadful weapons.

A small wave of young, female elite troopers receiving their share of hostile fire while approaching an enemy position. Exclusively using very young, mostly unarmed and entirely stripped soldier girls for all winter operations saves huge amounts of resources. Reasons for sending every girl fully naked into winter battles:

2) Girls become more agile without heavy and stiff clothing and armoring
3) Easier for girls to swim through icy water
4) Fully exposing the girl's naked, highly sensitive skin to freezing cold make them shocked and desperate and kick-boost their fighting efforts
5) Naked girls attract greater amounts of valuable, glowing arrows from the enemy, who is known for their unlimited sadistic behavior.
6) Same enemy will waste even more arrows shooting at girls who lie wounded and squirming in insane agony in the snow, repeatedly aiming for their fully exposed, most delicate body parts

7) Causes heavier losses and further increases the girls' enormous suffering. Although enjoyed by the enemy, this reveals their opponent commanders' ruthlessness, potentially scaring the enemy 
8) Make the scores of girls who are left wounded in the snow easier and even more tempting to rape and torture extensively, effectively distracting the enemy away from other operations.

Blizzard Battle

When the circumstances were too harsh for the specialized, heavily equipped Cimmerian polar alpine winter troops, naked Virgin Army girls were placed in the the blizzard to await the order to attack.

Only naked recruit girls were used in Cimmeria's harshest winter battles.

Besides saving resources, the slim and inexperienced soldier girls became quicker and more agile when fighting in the nude. 

Additionally, the girls' despairing franticness were further boosted when their tender and vulnerable bodies were utterly exposed to unforgivingly freezing elements and glowing, hostile steel. 

Pouring scores of young, naked female soldiers into full frontal attacks also proved efficient in draining the enemy's huge stockpiles of arrows.

The Hyborian enemy couldn't resist releasing unnecessarily massive volleys of these arrows against warrior girls charging completely naked, wave upon wave of which were generously sent into the windblown, frozen wastes, incognizant that their single purpose was to have their soft and fragile bodies absorb a maximum amount of the enemy's weapons.

Naked warrior girls also had the bonus advantage of remaining irresistible targets for the enemy archers even when lying seriously wounded on the battleground, helplessly squealing and squirming in unimaginable agony.

The archers of the Hyborian army used burning, red glowing projectiles, soaked with a powerful pain enhancing poison. A single hit would've knocked a full grown mammoth permanently out of action.

Although young Cimmerian girls were well known for their extraordinarily sensitive bodies, they had not developed any ability to faint out when experiencing extreme pain, even not when pierced by multiple of the Hyborian's dreadful arrows. As long as the struck girls kept writhing and rolling their totally naked bodies restlessly around in the torturous cold snow, usually for hours, often several days, the Hyborians continued to waste arrows, aiming for the defenseless girls' most delicate body parts. Just for the amusement of watching the girl's ever more desperate reactions as their pristine bodies mercilessly got deeply penetrated over and over and again.

Naked girls were highly efficient in attracting the enemy's glowing hot arrows and spears.

Dungeon

When the battle against an army of East Hyboria was lost, Red Sonja and several of her surviving fellow warrioresses were captured, chained and put in winter storage, while the East Hyborians figured out the best ways to use them.

Cimmerian girls were not easy to keep as slaves. They hardly obeyed, and would try to kill their master and escape at the very first glimpse of opportunity.

They could do as gladiators, even very skillful ones, but could not be forced to fight each other. But the Hyborians found them very amusing as victims in a wide variety of sadistic games. 

However, harsh intorrications, punishment and torture played an important role in the East Hyborian totalitarian society, and their torturists needed a generous supply of subjects to train on and to develop ever more humiliating and painful torture metodes.

For this purpose, captured, pretty enemy girls were those first and foremost being sought after, and young Cimmerian girls were the very most popular. Primarily because the Hyborians regarded these girls' bodies as exeptionally delicious, having smooth, tender skin, slim, petite figures, round, soft breasts, long, silky hair and naturally hairless, hypersensitive virgin vaginas. Although being sent naked into winter battles, these girls were also very shy and modest by nature, further contributing to make them extremely enjoyable for the ruthless Hyborians to rape and torture extensively.

More practically, despite having extraordinarily sensitive bodies, which the Cimmerian girls despairlingly would squirm and writh desperately even under the lightest torture, these girls were well known for their exeptional endurance. The dungeon door opens, the prison guard points at the young Red Sonja. It's her time.

Her only hope now is that somebody frees her before the weeks she may expect to survive the torture expires.

Winter Warrioress

One of Red Sonja's first assignment as a young warrior girl was to approach the positions to the Eastern Hyborian army as far as she could come, in an effort to temporarily attract some attention away from other parts of the offensive.

Cimmerian warrior girls were usually outfitted with a hand weapon, like a sword or spear, and a scale mail bikini. The youngest girls were not allowed to wear bikini tops.

Boots and gloves were added on winter days. 

On even colder days, a fur cloak was also included.

On particulary cold, windy and snowy winter days, all young Cimmerian warrioresses were deprived of all their garments, which were redistributed to higher prioritized divisions, forcing the girls to go into battles with nothing but their hand weapons.

Fortunately, all the arrows that hit Red Sonja on this mission went into or through non-vital parts of her body. Although her wounds were not immediately lethal, lying naked on the ground in this weather would have caused her to freeze to death within an hour. But the deep, fluffy snow she felt into covered her body and gave some protection against the freezing wind, and her restless writhing in agony contributed further to slow the freezing of her body.

Her best hope for survival was that the Cimmerians won the battle, found her and decided to bring her to safety soon enough.

Unfortunately for her, the East Hyborians won and eventually found her deep in the snow, uncontrollably shaking and barely alive.

Freezing sounds

What did she just hear? Just the wind? An animal which can give her meat and fur? Or wildlings who will capture and abuse her?

Still, the only things she can glimpse through the blizzard are even more miles upon miles of snow and ice covered mountains.

A young Red Sonja had departed on this long journey several weeks earlier, on a late summer day. However, after just a few days, while crossing a river, the poor girl managed to loose all her clothes and equipment, except for her spear. Utterly naked, at her most shy and modest age, she has since tried to avoid contact with whoever other people she might happen to encounter.

As the late summer turned into autumn, she discovered that the nights were getting surprisingly uncomfortable as they gradually became longer and colder. In a reckless move to shorten the torments and reach her destination some days earlier, the young and inexperienced girl decided to take a shortcut over the wild and desolated mountains.

But that doesn't save you any time unless you already know the path pretty well. She didn't. Actually, after a few days, she realized she hardly had a clue. 

And she never expected the even worse that was still to come. That at this altitudes and latitudes, winter may arrive so suddenly, so brutally.

Deeply despaired and immensely suffering in the freezing cold, what are her options now?

First duel

While crossing the mountains deep in the Frozen Wastes all alone, little Red Sonja suddenly meets her first deadly opponent.

Polar warg

During a journey to the Far North, little Red Sonja was only stretching her body outside the igloo in the morning, before she had put on her boots and thick fur, ignoring the arctic rule “don’t go anywhere without your spear”, when the polar warg attacked.

Although she definitely does not want to have a bath at this place, throwing herself into the water may be her last option to escape the warg, which hates water and is a lousy swimmer.
